Putting on hearing aids with sports locks

  1. Insert the dome into your ear.

  2. Take the sports lock tail and scoop it back with your finger so it rests in the bowl of your ear. This stabilizes the hearing aid, helping it stay in place during activity.

  3. Give the dome one final push to ensure a secure fit.

Attaching sports locks with a tool

  1. Turn the tool so the square side is facing up.

  2. Take your sports lock cord and align it with the square opening so the tail of the sports lock is outside of the tool.

  3. Remove the dome from your hearing aid.

  4. Check the color label (blue for left, red for right) and position the receiver so the colored label faces away from the sports lock tail.

  5. Push the receiver into the hole using firm pressure.

  6. Remove the assembled piece from the tool.

  7. Curl the tail with your finger and reattach the dome.
